We have been in a whirlwind. So, we just bought a house and are closing on Feb 12th and doing a remodeling job on the kitchen before we move in, which means a lot of planning and craziness. In the middle of the mayhem we were going to celebrate the magnificent day of Jan 20 in downtown DC when our little munchkin got the most serious case of GI bug. So we spent the day pampering the poor little one through misery. One benefit of her fatigued state was that we were all able to sit on the couch to watch the events without having the wild toddler tearing through the house and climbing the bookcases as usual. In regard to the change of leadership- what a fantastic new beginning - we are inspired!
I posted one of my favorite things to hear from little Eila. This is her sweet side- we all know toddlers have another (naughty) side as well. Eila definitely has a good and bad angel at work.

Good luck with the new house.
Wow! She speaks so well. We understand the Dr. Jekyll, Miss. Hyde toddler thing. We thought about you all and were wondering if you went to the inauguration. It looked very cold! See you soon! -Sandra
