Bye bye cherry blossoms, hello azaleas!

It is HOT here folks...feels like time to jump into the pool or pull out the slip n' slide. Eila is in summer gear enjoying her Papa and the newly blooming azaelas that were a great surprise to find in our back yard! Its like a rainbow outside of the breakfast area window. Its so hot here we are thinking a beach trip sounds pretty nice!

Eila attends the Ohr Kodesh weekly child parent "SCHOOL" on Thursdays for the past year and they just emailed out some pictures from the past couple of months, so I thought I would share. Eila loves her school and her teacher, named Honey, and she is particularly fond of one of the little classmates named Danny. If you ask her who she goes to school with she will say....Ummmm, Danny. And if you ask who else she will say...Danny...and then who else and she'll say Danny and then finally she will eventually name the others. She sings songs like Shabat Shalom at the top of her lungs around the house. Its very sweet.

Saturday was idyllic and springy, so we went on a morning adventure to the countryside to see the signs of new life. Cousin Keya and Eila were a dynamic duo at the Clark Elioak Farm. They of course said their favorite things were the GIAINT Rainbow slide, the house of bricks build by the little pigs and the old woman in the shoe's purple shoe with the slide...but they sure seemed to love the 1 week old baby goats which were cute beyond words. I have a permanent image in my mind today of my two girls gently stroking that tiny baby goat.

The Little Auto

Eila pulled out her little push cart/car that Lauren gave her for her first Christmas and was riding it around the other day. I was in the kitchen and looked over to the dining room when I heard a little raucous and here is what it was....
I realized that when Eila would get fussy in the car about 5-6 months ago we would look for road bumps to distract her. She remembers this evidently, and finds it pretty amusing.

We had a great birthday party with perfect weather! Eila was so glad to have everyone come sing and play! We missed getting agood picture of some of the special visitors, but hope to post some more pictures soon!
