coming out of the cave...

The ladybug's glass house. Eila loves to watch the ladybugs that came in with our jasmine plants in the Fall.

Getting ready to hit the trick or treat trail

We have been hibernating for awhile, but thought we'd do a very quick catch up on October, November, and December 2009, so we can move ahead to 2010. We are most definitely looking forward to Spring. On days when Eila doesn't nap well at school this past week she says "Mommy, I don't like the snow anymore!" She usually loves it, but I'm feeling ready for some green myself. The update is that Eila started preschool in October when she made 2.5 years. She was a puppy dog for Halloween. We had a big family gathering at Thanksgiving...Fantastic. We enjoyed a nice Christmas all together with grandparents and cousins here also. All along the way the theme was snow, snow, and more snow. As usual, we'll start writing more when the weather warms and we thaw out here a little. I forgot to mention that Kushang and I took our first trip away from Eila in November. We went to Florence for 5 days and Eila stayed with grandparents and the little dog and loved it (of course was even more behaved for them than she ever is for us :) It was a good experience all around.
