We spent the 4th of July with Carmen and Ying Wei in Pittsburgh enjoying fantastic food (the best Key Lime Pie ever and an amazing pancake breakfast at the Obama's favorite breakfast diner in the city) and a fun local park fireworks display (amazing little neighborhood show). It was great to catch up and Eila had a blast with her second chance to stay up really late ever and hang out with a big lovable dog Ivy. We went to the Aviary which was absolutely incredible-- if you ever go to Pittsburgh you should put this on the 'must do list'. Also another very big event for July is the cousin birthdays...Keya is now the big 6 and Cimeren is the big 3 and both girls got to dance and play in the hot summer sun at the fountain...live music and lots of boogeying booties. Summer is great!

Another big update from April birthday party at the Audubon Woodend Nature Center-- all about birds all the way through to a big Texas wedding in Austin for Marjorie and John. We've had a lot of excitement and the garden has gone from sprouts to giant 6 foot tomato plants. Eila has enjoyed a wonderful year at the Outdoor Nursery school and learned a lot about everything and now is exploring camps this summer-- she loved gymnastics camp. We had a fantastic family get together in Austin (despite the 100+ degree weather) and had a great family reunion dinner a couple nights before the big wedding -- which was one of Eila's favorite event of all times! She learned how to spell her name using sign language from auntie Sarah and played like crazy with cousins and aunties Lisa and Sarah and uncle Brandon, went to Barton Springs to swim, and she still is bragging about staying up "ALL NIGHT DANCING!". There are also some pictures from Easter egg hunting and school mates farm animal birthday party and some other fun events along the way. Tons of pictures!!!
