Eila is 4 years old today- and has been quite proud to say it to everyone! She had a wonderful day and it all started off the day before with the most intoxicating good weather of the year where we spent the day under the cherry blossoms just breathing the warm, fresh air. It was so nice we ran to the store and came back to eat a picnic dinner under the trees with friends. Today brought more of Eila's favorite things with bacon for breakfast from Parkway Deli, lots of fun gifts from friends and family including many great books, and then an afternoon of reading and card games and a trip to Politics and Prose for a little more book reading, then a big birthday song singing with cousins Keya and Cimi topped off with ice cream sandwiches! Whew- what a great day! Her birthday party will be this weekend - she and friends will be little bird watchers at the Audubon Park.
