Apple Picking, Yummy!

Last weekend we went to a nearby farm/orchard for pick your own apples to celebrate the coming of Fall (today, actually). We met up with Kaelin, Kim and Dinkar and enjoyed a gorgeous change of weather with cool breezes and sunshine while we crunched on sweet apples and jumped on heaps of baled hay and visited the farm animals. In the morning, Eila worked on her bicycling skills in Rock Creek Park. Very refreshing!

Big Bed- AHHH!!!

Eila is excited to announce after some forethought and urging on her part that she has graduated to a big girl bed. She slept soundly in her very bouncy and comfy new bed last night. She has happily donated her lovely crib to the anticipated sibling that may arrive in the future. She shared her bed space with many of her dearest stuffed and action figure friends Snoopy, Kitty, Tai Shan the panda, Buzz, Woody, and Andy the horse.
